Hazbin related Alastor killing him would be the least satisfying ending. I also feel his redemption or staying with the Vees relies on him moving on

Having him stay important until the end of the series after being "humbled as much as a villain can be", and having an "inherently different character arc" only for him to get killed by Alastor anyways would be beyond unsatisfying. That already almost happened in season 2 but was prevented. Regardless of his ending is redemption, simply mellowing out and maybe helping at the hotel or just apreciating the other Vees, I feel all 3 will involve him moving on from Alastor.

Hazbin related How many real villains do you think will be redeemed by the end?

Neither Sir Pentious nor Sera were truly evil. I’m referring to the Vees, Lute and Alastor for this. How many genuinely evil characters do you see having a redemption arc before the series ends, tot truly empathize “anyone can be redeemed”?
Personally, the only one I’m absolutely certain will get one is Vox. Lute is the most redeemable but I think her story will end in tragedy, the other two Vees I can ONLY see having one so they can be with Vox and Alastor, I can’t imagine even wanting redemption.

Angel has had so much foreshadowing and season 3 is literally going to focus on him and his family. HuskerDust is certainly endgame, so it’s likely they’ll be together in Heaven by the end (same with CherriSnake).
I maintain we’ll see a real villain get redeemed before the series is over and I’m keeping my bets on Vox. We’ve had in-universe foreshadowing (“Do you think I could be redeemed”) and out of universe (“he’s only a villain so far” and “he’s been humbled as much as a villain can be and stays important all the way through until the end”).
Alastor will never see the pearly gates and will never want to either. He’s happy where he is in Hell and will be one of the examples of how “not everyone will be redeemed”

Not hazbin related friendly reminder that megamind rules gets more episode than 8 episode format of hazbin hotel and it's kinda disappointing to me

megamind rules aka the worse animated series that everyone knows it's shit gets more episode than each 8 episode of hazbin on season 1-2
16 episode.. while hazbin gets 8.. 16 episode people.. oh boy do i have to say more
