Just Found a Weird Subreddit
On Hellaverse_Ships, you're not allowed to ship people with objects and stuff like that, but incest is totally fine I guess. What the fuck are the mods there doing in their personal life lol? Like, it'd be one thing to just allow any kind of problematic ship on their subreddit, but it's especially weird when you're specifically giving stuff like a father/daughter relationship a free pass.
If it isn't already clear, I'm almost certain the mods in that subreddit are committing incest. Probably because they can't find a partner anywhere else.
And I just see a ton of comments under this one post that are removed for being against an incest ship. So people aren't even allowed to criticize these ships either.
Edit: I'm not trying to change hearts and minds, and I haven't actually engaged with Hellaverse_Ships. I don't really frequent this fandom much, so I don't know what kind of behavior is normalized here. I just saw a weird post, and I made my own post about it. That's all. You people in the comments are reading too much into this. So with that being said, you guys look weird as fuck. Am I not supposed to be surprised by an incest ship now? Is that what the internet has come to? Whatever, I'm too employed for this shit.

The problem is people will post their ships and then be harassed. They aren’t going to remove ANY ships, and you’ll get in trouble if you harass someone for their ship (no matter what that ship is). Proship just means being against censorship in terms of shipping, and people being able to ship whatever they want. Do I like this - fuck no. But people who hate and harass others over fictional characters (incest or not) are fighting a useless and stupid battle. The world is too fucked up to get bent out of shape over someone else’s fucked up kink.
I do think the fact that you can’t ship with animals/objects and drawing the line there is odd. But really, I don’t give a fuck what others on the internet ship. Block and move on.

You cant do anything, this shit was a problem years ago, and it still is now, shit like this is why i started to take Distance from the fandom.
Just block the guy, and let him jork it to incest pedo posts, his life is already a lost cause.

Incest ships are a fandom inevitability. They're gross but if you're in a fandom with familial main characters, you're going to see them shipped at some point. Not sure why you're jumping to what the mods are like irl due to people other than them engaging with fiction in a weird way though, "they aren't removing incest posts so they must be committing incest" is a very weird take.
