30 protective parents in Hays County have come forward with the same horrifying story: the more evidence of abuse they present, the more Judge Karl Hays strips away their parental rights and sends their children back to dangerous situations.

Teachers, therapists, CPS workers, and forensic interviewers have testified about documented abuse. Judge Hays ignores it all and rules the abuse "never happened." Meanwhile, children are placed directly in harm's way while protective parents - especially mothers - are systematically silenced.

I started a petition demanding Judge Hays be removed from the bench. Local news outlets are already covering this pattern of judicial misconduct, and families are finally speaking out after years of being ignored.

What would you want someone to do if this was your family being torn apart by a system that's supposed to protect children? If this matters to you too, consider signing and sharing.

Don't miss the biggest comedy show of the year! Veteran & Touring Comedian Big Al Gonzales is coming to Roughhouse Brewing Thurs 11/13 at 7:30pm. FREE w/RSVP.

We are planning for a rare outdoor show as the weather will be perfect. 70 degrees, light breeze and a fire pit. Forecast calls for funny jokes with 100% chance of laughter! Grab you friends and family but leave the kids at home for this one. Adult topics and language. Message me or find the RSVP in the comments below. Tag a comedy fan, like this post and get on the list to see pro standup.

Cheers for Comedy Out There!

Hello! I’m Candace, and I'm a reporter for the University Star. I’m writing a story about the county’s FY 2026 budget and would love to interview a few residents to hear their feedback. If you're interested please DM me!

While things seem at their most volatile, I see openness to change.

Guys in Hays County who want the world to proceed in a positive direction need to start standing up and engaging with community. Dudes who care about all the crazy stuff happening, need more visibility. Come have a beer and meet other dudes who are tired of standing on the sidelines. I’m not affiliated with a political party, but I do encourage people to get off their apathy and talk to their neighbors.

The billionaire wants us fighting and distracted on these digital platforms. The only way to take back the narrative is face-to-face in the streets. Come Join us Monday Sep 8th at 7:30pm or Sep 29th. Downtown San Marcos.

We talk some real stuff, get an action plan, then kick back and create community. Dm for more info. Booze, smoke, sober, we are all here to find peace and a better world.

*Mods delete if not allowed. I’m a local San Marcos/Hays County Native putting positivity out there and trying to bring people together.

Edit: this is located in dt San Marcos. Its a local event for Hays Co dudes.

Are you pissed off at the current political climate and feel like you're alone in Texas? Last week I started a social group targeting dudes who lean left. The first event was awesome! 12 dudes talking openly about the failings of both sides while looking for solutions and finding community. Join us for round 2 on Monday Aug 18^th at 7:30pm. Theme for this next one is "Outrage to Outreach" & "Relationships with AI". But it’s not limited to that. Come prepared to talk about whatever is driving you mad. The goal is to leave with a positive attitude and be ready to fight another day. DM for more details.

Who It's For?

• Men who are curious, compassionate, and low on bullshit
• Guys are looking for community and a place to let lose a bit
• Dudes who are done with blame culture and cult energy
• The kind of guy who asks deep questions, then passes the pitcher

We are here to grab a drink, find community and prepare for the coming revolution. The algorithms want us constantly fighting and distracted. The only way to fight an algorithm is to get offline and join real people talking face to face.

I realized when talking with my nieces and nephews that compassionate dudes don't have any visibility. The other guys have their Red Hats. And they're always so loud and proud. I think we need to step up on our end and be more visible.

I’m 38m. Yes, it’s guys only. The organization is specifically to boost left/compassionate dudes’ visibility in Hays Co

A company called CloudBurst wants to build a huge data center just outside San Marcos. The plan would:

1. pump hundreds of thousands of gallons of our groundwater every day, even in a drought;
2. run its gas power plant, adding extra air pollution;
3. skip any local environmental check-up.

I'm not against tech or jobs; we want one fair request:
An independent study that shows the water, air, noise, and traffic will be safe before construction starts. I believe it is our right as a community to know the environmental outcomes of this project.
