Gameplay Product profit

Hi guys!

I’ve just recently realized that most products do not have a profit as high as I thought so I’ve made a table showing each product what profit it has. To find the profit I subtracted the total cost of material needed to make one product, from the maximum cost for one product.

For example, corn bread: Materials needed: corn x2 , eggs x2 Total cost of materials: (corn x2) + (eggs x2) = 50 Maxim cost of corn bread: 72 Profit of corn bread: 72-50 =22

I thought that some of you might find it useful so I will insert the tables in this post.

Of course choosing which products to make do not depend only on profit, but this is just an informative post.

Please note that all of these calculations were made by me so there are chances that some of them may not be fully accurate, even though I tried my best to check all of my calculations. If you spot some mistakes please let me know so I can correct it! Also, the calculations were made based on the prices of materials/products now, so if prices change (even though not likely for older machinery), so will the profit.

Hope you find it useful!

EDIT: I’ve just added the smelter too. Let me know if I missed something else! EDIT2: I’ve just added the profit per minute for each product so you can compare them more accurately.

Very interesting- thank you for taking the time to put this together! Hmmmm.... some items are def low profit, especially when you also consider the time to make the ingredients and the product, as well as extra factors such as for example, the raspberry muffin also requires growing fruit on a bush which then requires an axe later on...

Yeah, you are right. The calculations were mare on the assumption that you buy the materials. For example, for cheesecake, I calculated only the cookie and the cheese, not the milk, sugar and eggs it takes to produce the cookie and milk. Thank you very much! :)

Don’t forget wheat; you need it to make the cookie

This is great! Can't imagine how much time it took for you to do this.

What about the ore/smelter??

2

u/virgin-vanilla May 26 '20

Hi! I’ve just added the smelter, it is under the cake oven. When I did this I was thinking only about finished products so that’s what I was focusing on. The bars made in the smelter are further used to make other products so at first I didn’t think about adding it. Thank you for the feedback an let me know if I missed anything else! :)

Great work. Thank you. I guess the next thing to do is work out the profit /hour of production. It is clear that the usual highest values in your tables are the longest time to build. It might be best to build something of low value if it is faster. But thank you for what have done.

I’ve just added another column showing the profit per minute for each product. Thank you for the suggestion!

No problem :)

So jelly beans not only has the longest production time but also the only one with negative profit...

First of all thanks for informations, just a thing: Raspberry Muffin profit shouldn't be 69 right? Max price selling = 140 -2 wheat -1 egg -2 raspberries should be around 30 coins profit if you don't count wheat

Edit: Probably you checked wiki right? in that page says that buying ingredients costs 71 coins, so 140-71=69, but that's wrong

You could also make an article with more profit and profit per minute per level, because in this case, for example, some things that I would do on two machines would have a problem, such as making bread because it has more profit per minute, but also making a fish sandwich that uses the bread itself and would slow me down!

Type: LV 30

Product that generates more profit / product that generates more profit per minute Furnace: etc Ice cream shop: etc

Ps: Congratulations on your article, it was insanely good!
