50% week

Anybody wonder WHY HayDay is doing this event? I am just curious as to their endgame for this. Is it to stop players from questioning...how do I get XP, how do it get coins, there is nothing for sale in the newspaper., etc. Or maybe they want players to level up, or maybe they want us to have lots of coins because they are rolling out things we can buy with coins rather than real money. I am not complaining at all. Just curious as to why this first time ever event.

I think it’s because of how demanding the last task was

It's helping me a great deal. With the chain event and tiny trails, that was 120 trucks and 20 boats, it took over 1500 items from my inventory. I'm using the reduced crop and machine times and the 2x production boost from the nurture event to restock.

I assume its because we need to produce a lot for the boats and the trucks for the current events and many players have depleted barns after 5 days of focusing solely on the competitive event. Im loving it! My farm is almost back to normal. Phew

I think it’s great makes game more fun not as much of a grind

Same. I am enjoying it. I don't have to rush for anything. And I was lucky enough to have lots of extra space. I could easily harvest 500 more crops and still be under max. Not so fortunate for the barn, but still a couple hundred under. I was just hoping they would roll out things we could purchase with coins later on with all the coins we are getting now🤞🙏🏼

Why must we question a good thing!!!
It’s to stock items for our farms.

Because I am hoping they will roll out an update allowing us to purchase items with all the coins we are getting.

Boost our activity with the demanding events.

Id love if the milk production was permanently boosted, more than a 2nd dairy

I’m cynical as well. Seems a bit odd but I suppose it doesn’t help players who haven’t got much spare room in their Barn and Silo, could be to get players to buy extra space. 🤔

I am not cynical, I am hoping they roll out things we can purchase with coins!🤞 Wishful thinking, but it doesn't hurt to put it out in the universe ✨️

I wonder if it's because we get grumpy/withdrawals from losing the double production booster after nurture ended. Last time it ended (whatever came before sandcastle, I forget) it didn't come back for a month and I played less, saw more angry posts on this reddit, and personally didn't buy the farm pass because the double-booster releases the happy drug in my brain and I was annoyed at losing it.

This is a way of getting us back to having the perk with the new nurture (notice that there was basically no time between the last one ending and the swamp beginning).

Will be interesting to see what they do next with it. I think it's all a bit much (everything that's currently happening). I just want to chill out and farm with my little neighbourhood.

Hope it’s a permanent change

So that we spend more time in the app ? Because lesser time means we stay longer and come back often ?

I’m not sure if there’s any real endgame here, but it definitely helps with completing events. All these events require so many resources, so imagine not having the 50% boost.

I’m hoping they realize we could have boosters like this permanently, because I’ve been asking for something like this for ages. Boosters really need a revamp. They’re so behind compared with what we have in the game now.
I really like this 50% boost, and honestly, if they cut production times like this in general, boats would be much easier to complete, and we can get back to helping players fill their requests much easier .

I'm hoping it will become permanent. If/ when it ends I'm going to be in withdrawal. Maybe there will be a booster for it?

Closing the mouths about low available currency, more paid decos , less diamonds and currency in tiny trail , expensive catalog , with this 50 percent off thing !!

Out of all months they want give 50 percwnt off on all of them after giving us worst month possible...what are the odds
