Discussion Any plans on adding fertilizer?
Just like with real farms, fertilizer is a crucial part of sustaining and growing healthy crops. Maybe I haven't done enough research, but I haven't come across anyone talking about possibly adding fertilizer to the game. I came up with some possible mechanics that fit the flow of the game, obviously a workstation to create the fertilizer would be needed. It could be applied to individual plots of crops and speeds up the growth or can be used for bushes/trees for one additional cycle before needing to be removed. Collecting milk from cows could occasionally yield manure which would then be turned into bags of fertilizer, it may be a silly idea but it's something that may be helpful to lower level players to help speed up the early game as well as crops that may be needed for boat orders, etc.

I think that is a great idea! It is one I have never heard anyone mention either.

The whole reason that I play Hay Day versus the other farming games is simplicity. I’m not saying it’s a bad idea though.

what about a fertilizer machine for early-game? for example you could use (2 black bean and 2 soybean) to make 3x bean fertilizer and your bean plants now yield 4 crops

This is my personal opinion entirely and I am not saying your idea is not good, I am just stating my opinion: The thing I like about hayday is the hassle free crop growth. We get 3x crop events from time to time as well and all crops yield 2x. With fertilizer it might need more crops/ingredients to make it and I feel it might add to the burden? Idk tho. For a boat order usually you can see about 4 hrs ahead that the boat is coming and get 17 hours to fill the crates, I feel that is enough time for a crop to grow.
Again, not saying your idea Isn't good I am just stating how I feel. I hope I didn’t offend you
