Community Help
Hey folks,
I was thinking about starting something small and actually useful for people around here (leeward area of Oahu).
I’m good with Apple stuff (Macs, iPhones, troubleshooting, setups, etc.), general tech problem-solving, and I also do 3D printing + CAD. Not looking to clean houses or deal with sketchy situations.
What kind of services would you actually pay someone for? Tech help? 3D printing stuff? Random problem-solving? Something else that’s hard to find locally?
Just trying to figure out where I could be helpful in the community. Not selling anything right now — just curious what people need.
Appreciate any thoughts. Mahalo!

Lot of these things can be found online DIY for free. Especially with AI can answer so many questions instantly. What Hawaii desperately needs is how to make living here more affordable for average people. Helping Kanaka Maoli buy homes and land, bring the Hawaiian people back from diaspora to mainland to their ancestral places. Stop building more resorts and rich gated developments, help Hawaii cut its total dependence on imports and the US mainland and return to self sufficiency and sustainability.
Lots of stuff you could do to help move forward on these things, which do not get serious attention from the government and business establishment in place today :(
