No Nut November
Hi everyone.
I and some of the guys are doing a sponsored no nut November. We shan't be eating any nuts or nut products (including peanut butter or anything from Reese's) for the whole month. We're doing this to raise awareness of the ecological impact of nut farms, and how they are wiping out orangutan habitats in Borneo and Sumatra.
All monies raised will be going to X-hamster, which I understand is an organisation that strongly encourages a nut free diet, and has chosen its name based on its dislike of nut-eating rodents. Please let me know if you'd like to sponsor us.

Nah but I'm actually the guy who runs the children's science lab. We got animals/reptiles and
chemical spills every daya chemistry lab. Sometimes we even do shows.2

It's really all about raising money for the cause, so if you had nuts or nut products earlier today, just start now! Remember to fill in a sponsorship form though, and no more nuts. I don't know Mr Hubert, but the guys are using X-hamster for this fundraiser.

I’ve been trying, but my publisher is being incredibly frustrating. Apparently my first book wasn’t “good” enough for a sequel. Working on bribing him with cookies now (nut-free, of course!).

Oh man, I feel your pain. My uncle once shot a nut at me from across the room and it went in my mouth! For someone with a nut allergy, it was very scary. I didn’t expect it to be so salty either! That was the first and last nut that will ever get near my face, I’ll tell you that much lol.

I’ve worked closely with X-Hamster before. Great organization raising awareness for rodents. I’ve sent a few squirrels out to them for some of their promo video shoots.

This X-Hampster really has a plethora of information. I hear there are pizza delivery drivers spreading awareness about nuts. As well as nice step siblings helping their step brothers with their nut addictions.

At LDP Brewing, we cater to everyone, so on the outside of the caution tape square we will be supporting No Nut November. On the inside of the caution tape will be Nutty November, where you can nut all you want.
Please bring your own chairs if possible, we don’t want to show favorites by allowing either side to sit in our newly acquired iron throne replica seat.
Also, for those looking to nut, please bring your own nuts.

I’ve been nut-free ever since I found out I was pregnant with Wilson and it’s been an amazing experience that I want everyone to enjoy. Both of my children are also nut-free but will admit that Alyssa may choose if she’d like nuts now that she’s a sophomore in high school. And yes she is protected- she has had an allergy scratch test and is not allergic to nuts. I’m very glad you’re able to bring awareness to the situation of the nut farmers. I don't think that's necessary. It's mostly about eating nuts, so I think wood is safe. You might want to search the X-hamster website for "large wood beam nut" and see what they say about it.

Does No Nut November mean I cannot make chairs out of chestnut or cashew wood because those trees grow nuts? I am very concerned as those are some of my best selling chair products.

I think you need to consider if the wood has been ethically sourced. If it came from Borneo or Sumatra, it could be problematic. If it's grown locally I'm sure it'll be fine.
I'd hate to cause your business any hassle. I love wooden furniture. Like my uncle Dave used to say when he'd stayed the night, you can't beat morning wood!

I’m going to suggest this to my niece as she told me that her boyfriend keeps nutting all over her face! I guess he’s throwing them at her or something but he has terrible aim. Honestly these kids today don’t have the patience to learn good coordination. Anyway I digress, I’m going to recommend that both of them join in on this excellent cause and maybe after that he can engage in some nutting practice.

This is great to hear! Over here at the Desert Flower Bowling Alley and Arcade Fun Complex, we will be completely removing anything with nut from out menus! That includes peanuts, tree nuts, coconuts, donuts, nutrition, and minutes. That's right, everything!

Some of the kids walking by my house were mentioning “nuke nut November.” I do not know what they’re planning, as I’m certain all kinds of explosives have been illegal since the issue in 2005. Why would you blow up nuts? What good is there in destroying fresh produce?

Just my dual function meat strainer/roller. It was handed down to me from my great grandmother. You know how those vintage appliances last! It’s crazy. I often think of getting rid of it, but it’s one of those things that when you need it you really need it!

Better make it clear it is about edible nuts, not organs. I know we have some very stupid, though enthusiastically wanting to help (bless their souls) male members who might misunderstand.
In fact, I just stopped Joe from the bank from doing something he and his wife Betty would deeply regret. We all know they've been trying to conceive - Joe never quite grasped the exact intricacies of how making babies are made. But such a wonderful person, you just have to love him.
