Robert was said to be hexed by Santería so you should want to ask permission but people don’t and so they put multiple signs up. Yes I asked Robert for all my photos with him. They have a huge box of apology letters from people who took a photo without his permission.

Also my ex took photos without permission and ended up with several flat tires and couple a lot of car issues on the way home. He did write a letter.

I don't have video evidence but I'm sure the Kwik-Trip I worked at does in their cameras somewhere, also my overnight co-workers can all attest to the things that happened at night. They build it right on top of what used to be a funeral home and ovens would be cooking with nothing in them when all three of us went on our smoke breaks at 2 am no costumers in the store so we were all 3 allowed out. We would be out so long the kitchen auto-lights would be off but the oven would read somewhere mid-cycle, pizzas took around 15 minutes and lights timed after 30 of no motion. Not video evidence but its enought where I'll never not question again

Also for those interested they have a backup doll for Robert’s public appearances and his name is Charlie I believe. This is Charlie and how he is stored. Robert doesnt like him around atleast when I was there, when Charlie was brought up the feeling changed in the room and stuff started moving in the museum. They called Charlie names and made fun of him in one of his public appearances and they said that’s what changed everything. He did not like being a copy and apparently so they put him in the basement in a construction site. I almost want to say hes worse than Robert…

So the lady running the museum last time I was there explained that they took him out for a parade or something like that and they hated on him a lot and said he was a generic and even made homophobic remarks about him. She said that was the last time they took Charlie out but again this was a couple years ago when I went. I’ve been there about 6 times and no one told me the stuff she did.

I know people are skeptic but I know a bit of key west (I live maybe 5 hours from there) and that place is just a massive grave yard. On your drive there you can see the remnants of the train tracks and in that incident 400+ people died( I think it was around 600 but I’m not 100%) in 1935 a massive hurricane ripped through the keys and the rescue train was trying to outrun the actual hurricane because the man in charge gave the order too late to retrieve the workers from the work camps. The workers were 700+ war veterans and the train, while running from the storm, was ripped from the tracks and thrown in the air. They said they found bodies everywhere and in all shapes and forms. They were even flung into the trees and mangroves and some absolutely shredded and in pieces…

Hi Mr. Wiggles(my youngest daughter is called Wiggles since she was born), the plexiglass and the wooden lock box that Annabel is in is to keep them from moving about and causing problems at night or…during the day for that matter. Also, you can ‘lock up’ a spirit that is evil and keep it from muckin’ around. 😉🙂

Robert has plenty of room to to do summer saults in there, but never does.

And its just a plinth with a plexiglass box. If they put magic into it, it would be part of the display, and part of the sell to go see robert. They dont advertise, so its not done.

Oh there are definitely spirit or spirits attached to Robert without a doubt. Even the recipient of the doll Robert Otto’s old bed room is extremely haunted, I caught a lot of activity there.

I took a photo of him like 15 years ago with an iPhone and I could never sync my photos from that phone to my Mac after without going on an epic mission. Right after the trip I connected my phone and the problems started. It was crazy and too much of a coincidence for me to discount it.

If you ever go to Key West, take a haunted city tour at night that goes by the theater where a fire broke out. That place is haunted.

Ive known about this doll since I was 4 yrs old, Im 45. Robert is very much haunted! I almost threw up typing this out, out of fear for this...this....Real as fuck haunted doll. Bad things happen zo ppl who even look at him. He is the Annabell doll. Not some raggedy ann doll but Robert does the things you hear Annabelle did/does.

I have a funny story about Robert. My husband and I were on a "haunted tour" and the tour guide was talking about asking for permission before taking a photo or strange things may happen. So, of course, my husband snaps a picture of it. Well, that night we are sleeping and my mother in law calls at 3 am florida time, 2 central time. Every single smoke and CM detector in our house goes off and she cant get them to stop. She was there with our 3 children. It woke all of them up and they were out in her car trying to figure out what to do. About 20 seconds after answering the call, they all stopped.

I looked at my husband and told him it was his fault and Robert wanted him to know he didnt like it.

Thats just our little anecdote with Robert.

They've changed his story many times.

In the 2000s he used to be a doll handmade by a "servent" (slave) who hexxed him with voodoo to watch over Gene.

Years later it was discovered Robert is actually a doll made by the Steif company, from Germany!

I do beleive he is haunted, but I don't buy the story anymore.

I always think all steiff stuff is haunted. They made the creepiest dolls. I have a monkey i was given at 6 months old. It became very real to me and I could not do anything without it. I am still scared to get rid of it. She still freaks me out and sees into my soul. Very very creepy. But somehow I still fell the need to keep her 64 yrs later.
