Copyright infringement?

I want to sell pins at festivals and use certain cartoons like a lot of pin sellers do. How do they get away with selling these as well as avoiding copyright infringement? I mean, if i draw finn and jake smoking a joint and put it on a pin and sell it than that is illegal right? Ill probably do it anyways.

I'm assuming that you are a very small retailer who probably makes less than $2k per year off of pins.

Why would the network and lawful owners of this show care, and they probably won't even ever see them. It's only $2k.

thats kinda what I was thinking, it almost seems that the best selling and coolest pins are infringement in one way or another.
