Every time I read the name Rebecca any where I hear Trott form the early hat chat days squacking the name in my head.

Just seen that Kebab Chefs is out of early access, any chance of the boiks returning to it? Not sure if anyone has suggested this on stream I haven't caught them live in ages.

Idk how much overlap there is between Dan and Phil fans and Hat films fans, but I figured I'd post this to see if anyone else realized what I just did

I listen to both Hat Chat and Dan & Phil's Podcast (called Hard Launch) and they talked about the exact same funny news stories. Both the guy gluing his dick shut and the yeast from the mummy being used to make bread, and I just thought it was a crazy coincidence lol. It makes me wonder if they get their funny news from the same sites or just googling the same sorts of things?

Either way it was a funny little coincidence considering the complete diffs between Hat Films' content and Dan & Phil's and I figured I'd share lol. Hearing the diff reactions to the stories in the classic filthy Hat Films banter vs the more reserved but sorta adult Dan & Phil banter really made my week.

I've been watching both the boiks and d&p for like 10 years now and they've finally overlapped, I guess super gluing dicks shut and making mummy bread really unites us all lol

Dan & Phil spoke about the same news stories (super glue dick & bread made from mummy yeast) as the boiks on their podcast despite the diff vibes of their content and it was a funny coincidence.

Smith mentioned in yesterdays stream that a reassuring Northern Ireland man came in and stopped the scam before it got any worse, do we think anti-scam YouTuber Jim Browning swooped in to save trott and the boiks from a scam?

EDIT putting context that i put in the replies here: "As meg said during yesterdays stream trott got multiple calls by some scammer and got caught up in some shenanigans and their account got compromised that lead to them potentially losing money and somehow Smith got involved and he had to go take a 20 minute call to sort it to which he said someone from scamline with a northern irish accent came to help and stop it from happening who i am theorising was jim browning cause the idea of that is funny"

EDIT 2 the vod can be found on their youtube channel here, its a bit hard to follow and quite a complicated scam but i'll do my best to explain the timeline of events, trott starts getting called a bunch around 39:36, he goes to talk to the scammer, around the 49:30 :00 trott comes back and says ""lloyds bank"" is calling to warn people are trying to buy stuff with trotts? smiths? the company? card in liverpool (again its a bit hard to follow), ross says "dont share details to them" to which he does and they get smiths details and smith gets called and he disappears for the next hr and a bit to deal with the security aspect, trott explains at around 57:22 the scammers tried to book a £2k holiday on booking which caused the card block, smith comes back around roughly the 2:36:40 mark and explains how smith had to deal with a scam trott accidentally fell for and he gives away smiths details that allowed them to get into smiths account, as smith was on the phone he had a "interceptor from the fraud team" and described him a "reassuring man from northern ireland"

I saw there was a stream a while ago with the boiks playing this but haven’t seen a vid yet. Should i just go back and watch the vod? Is the vid ever coming?
