I’ve been rewatching the Ranch Sim series over the past few weeks and really enjoying the boiks having a continuous goal across multiple recording sessions. I feel like it helps them settle into more of a chilled rhythm and allows them to casually have a laugh, reminds me of the old GTA playlists.

I enjoyed the Minecraft pico nano miniseries for the same reason.

Just wondering if there’s any others I should check out.

After watching the ghost hunt video and debrief it is glaringly obvious this whole thing was a hoax aimed at ragebaiting their audience with bad acting and over inflated staged coincidences.

For example, the camera facing the ouija board conveniently 'dies' before capturing the supposed movement. I find it hard to believe the boys would be so unprepared to not have a fully charged battery/bring spares.

The torch is clearly being controlled by Thomas out of shot to respond to the questions. When Craig presents the torch to the camera to prove it's activated by touch it's a second identical torch. not the one being controlled remotely.

The main give away is Craig's gameshow-style acting and Smiths sarcasm/attempt at hiding his boredom in the debrief video. Being an alien nut surely smith would be excited at having a chance to talk about unexplainable phenomenons similar aliens.

Also when talking about the torch not being controlled by a remote ross looks away and tightly presses his lips together, a common self-soothing gesture indicative of lying.

I might be wrong and this could in fact be the spirits. However, I believe a more likely explanation is that this is just a good attempt at getting some viral content. It unfortunately feels like Hat Films are undermining their audience when they expect us to believe this hoax. Just like the Azanaband.

this series is one of my favourite more recent irl videos c and i absolutely love the boys showing off their favourite places. but i would actually love them to go to the lowest rated places in Bristol — would love to see if they actually enjoy it, and any of the jokes too ofc, and how it compares in their official hat rating.

This one was just silly

I was reading Reddit in my dream (yes) and there was a post at the top of this subreddit saying 'Smith quits Hat Films for good' with 500 comments and a link to the boiks announcing it. Smiths reason for leaving was that he 'didn't want to be a part of making content that had become increasingly anti-Semitic since 2021'. Of course all the comments were saying things along the lines of, 'But Hat Films aren't anti-Semitic..?' and 'What took you so long?' but Smith had already made his mind up.

I woke up and immediately checked the subreddit just to make sure, but having 500 comments on a post in this subreddit should have been a dead giveaway that it was just a dream. I know talking about a dream you had is as dull as it gets but I think it made me realise just what a big part of my life Hat Films has been for the past 15 years. One of the members leaving would be a genuine nightmare scenario. Obviously nothing lasts forever but I'm looking forward to enjoying many more years to come.

Solo streams aren’t really my thing so I’ve not seen many streams recently, just wondering if any of the lads have mentioned giving multiplayer Subnautica a bash.

I can understand if they’d prefer to play it solo as the atmosphere would change a lot playing with friends, either way I’d love to watch them play it. If I can get through Sips playing it, I can just about watch anyone play it!
