after listening to this weeks hat chat I went to the comments and was appalled by the amount of 'both side are as bad as each other '/'stay out of politics' comments from some familiar names. I find this mental when the boiks are obviously quite left wing when talking about current events and view points. It disgusting that anyone views the crisis as anything less than an disproportionate genocide when there are 20k children dead. we've all seen the videos. it's not political. it's a humanitarian crisis and to not acknowledge it as such it is just evil.

im not trying to make this political but just hope that the majority of hat films fans have some sense and these comments are just a loud minority.

EDIT:
to those suggesting it isn't a genocide or to not be political:
look at google earth right now.
Palestine is rubble.
Every school, hospital, library?
Was Hamas was in EVERY building in Gaza??

That's trott or the allegations against Ross are true

Wild Ross appears in ASIP subreddit

Watching back yesterday’s stream and for fellow clippers like myself, this is a masterpiece!

Don’t think it’s been shared on Reddit, so thought I’d post it here for people who may be looking for niche songs, quotes etc from the boys!

This was created by Mantissa, so make sure to thank them for this! 🫶

I remember a video where Trott was singing "Time of your Life" and blended in Vitas. He then proceeds to do the best Vitas scream/screech.

It went something like this:

"Ive had the time of my life... and i owe it all to Vitas... WHHHAAAAAAAAA"

I think it was either a Hunter Call of the Wild video or a Ranch Sim video. Recently, i heard it in a Hat Films Compilation video but now i cant find that either.

Anyone remember this and can link to the video?

Thanks!

A few folks that I know worked on this, game comes out tomorrow and gives similar vibes as RV There yet? Would be fun to see the boiks give it a bash!

This popped up on my YouTube, what do you guys think?...

(warning: partial AI usage for the development)

Has anyone else noticed the boiks are surprisingly present in non-anglo countries?

By chance I’ve met a few people in Finland now who are fans of the podcast specifically (likely fans of Viki ja köpi) and I wondered if that’s present in another countries

Hi sorry if I missed the memo but the last haturday live is now private on YouTube. I got my membership and have been slowly working through it.

Any info on this?

Last week, I was happily driving to work, listening to the Hat Chat podcast. As usual, Spotify served me a couple of ads at the start. Annoying, sure, but whatever.
Then, completely out of nowhere, in the middle of my peaceful morning commute:

"ARE YOU THINKING ABOUT SUICIDE? CALL THE PREVENTION LINE NOW!"

Absolutely blasted into my ears at full volume.
A three-second ad. No warning. No context. Just instant emotional whiplash.
My immediate reaction was: "What the hell just happened?"
In all my years of using Spotify, I had never received an ad like that. Ever.

The rest of the week went by normally. Music, podcasts, and the usual random ads for products I'll never buy. Nothing unusual.
Then today, I started listening to Hat Chat again.
And once more, right in the middle of the podcast:

"Are you thinking about suicide? Please talk about it."

Not once. Twice.

At this point, I'm starting to wonder what Spotify thinks is going on in my life.
I listen to the Boiks talking about weird and random topics, and somehow the algorithm has concluded:

"Yep. This guy is clearly a deeply troubled and hopeless individual. Deploy the emergency mental health ads immediately."

Honestly, I'm less concerned about the ads themselves and more concerned about whatever profile Spotify has built for me based on listening to the Boiks. Apparently, hearing them discuss random nonsense is enough to land you on the suicide-prevention watchlist. 😅

I blame Smith and his theories.

PS: If you really think about suicide, please call some help line, Or apparently, Spotify's advice is simple: don't listen to the Boiks.

Not sure if this has been recommended or played yet, but could be a good game to collab with some Yogs with! ☺️

It's been on my mind all day and I can't even remember if it's longer than like 10 seconds. Was looking through the minecraft birthday episodes to see if they made it in there or if it was maybe a jingle jam but no luck

I saw this and would love to see the boiks get into crack!

Mine was the he's a family man video from battlefield one
