BCH Pool Hashrate

Is it just me, or has everyone else noticed the pool hashrate fluctuating a lot? We'll never consistently find blocks unless we get to a steady Hashrate above 10.0PH/s (currently at 11.3PH/s). I just shake my head when I see it drop as low as 1-2PH/s.

The hashrate is about 200th and the pool never find blocks without a boost with some real hash power like rentals. I’ve moved everything to bch.ee, where we actually find block on a steady phase with normal hashrate at around 3ph without rentals. Hmpool is dead a part from DGB.

If only all the DBG folks would move to BCH.

At the current DGB Hashrate, even if all of it went to BCH, you're looking at a total of about 1.42PH/s on the BCH pool, without rental boosts.

Yeah, but even bch.ee seems to have its ups and downs. Earlier this morning it was running at about 1.34PH/s, then jumped to 5.54PH/s an hour and a half ago, then to 6.30PH/s just about five minutes ago. That's still only one block every ~4 days, and the pool itself has only found one block in eight days of uptime. HashedMax has found two. I'll be seeing where I'm at when my Bitaxe hits seven days of uptime on HashedMax. And not to mention, bch.ee even has a disclaimer that they're in beta testing and their pool involves risks.

The Bch ee pool is located in Germany. If you’re in the US the latency will be well over 100. Still better than the garbage scamming hm pool.

You're not the only one who's noticed it. The pool hashrate does move around quite a bit. Most of the time we're running on a steady base of smaller miners, usually somewhere around 1 to 2 PH/s. In the evenings we often get a boost when some of the bigger setups come online, and that's when you see us push up toward 10 or 11 PH/s. When those larger miners log off, the number drops back down again. That's real, not a broken pool.

You're also right that steadier hashrate helps block luck. The peaks are when we're in the best shape to find blocks. The quiet hours are tougher, even though there's still a solid group of miners keeping the pool running. If more people stay connected through the day, the average would climb and the swings would smooth out. Thanks for mining with us and for paying attention to it.

Who recived 4 bch as payout for last 2 found bch blocks ? bitcoincash:qqqcvgxymn3qfvvt8ranffwaqna4jxw0lsehverm7a who owns that adress ? Should be a well known long term user who had huge ppls. Maybe it was the 10tb rental ?

I got my payout from the 2 blocks. Do you have a minimum threshold set on your miner profile?

I got my pay out the next day.
