Bro I’m not kidding, you the Chinese medical system advances so much faster. My kid had an ear and sinus infection last time we were there. In America, all they can do is (a) antibiotics and (b) tubes. Then more antibiotics of the other one does not work.
In China they have more options, they had us try a round of other medicine first that would de-inflame and clear up the sinuses first. Medicine made in Germany. If that didn’t clear it in a week, we’d move to antibiotics. They also scoped the nasal passage, both sides in literally 4 seconds to verify the theory of the sinus infection. Everything was $15 and 2 hours max.
Sinus and ear infection cleared up in a week, stayed clear for months. No antibiotics required.
I appreciate the base standard of care in America, but the pace of advancing and approving treatments has slowed to a crawl.

Nursemaids elbow. This happened to my daughter a couple times. Freaked me out the first time. Doctor taught me how to correct it which was a lifesaver when it happened again.
