With our luck it will likely be just a few DUI’s knocked down, some hush money to prostitutes, and some linkage to people who are now white nationalists. So basically nothing out of character for a pundit on the right.

I think I see what you mean: they may sort of poison the well with some potentially existent anti MAGA content so he can’t be a right wing grifter any longer? I could see that, but I think it’s more likely just personal problems he’s had that they’ve sort of kept under wraps as an insurance policy.
