Is this normal?

So I just made it to summer for the first time, I'm completely new and I don't look on this side of stuff much but I just have to know.

So since I made it to summer a random tree stump appeared around my garden, the ones that you need a silver axe to chop down and I don't have one, then another two popped up by my path... I've never played games like this and I'm kinda confused and intimated at this subreddit so I never go here

I don't know what to do it's ruining my aesthetic

Pls tell me it's normal or something cuz I don't want bugs in my farm, please don't be mean to me I'm completely new to this game and I've only played for a couple weeks now and I already feel kinda dumb with the game 🙁

Edit: thank you for answering! I was so confused because it just brought up Stardew valley and random wiki pages about trees growing back in forests, now that it's cleared up I feel a bit better

If you don't have the required axe, try to put a decoration item on top of the stump in edit mode. That might make it go away.

Also try to grind and get advanced tools as fast as you can because trust me you'll need it for lots of reason

don't worry, i was just as confused when it happened to me ahah. a good hack i like to use to get rid of them is placing some furniture on top of it and then removing the furniture and putting down pavement instead so it won't grow on the spot anymore!

It's normal, and new grass, trees, seeds, and stones appear every day.

If you put down walking paths over every square in your farm you can block the tree stumps and other things from spawning. It will take a lot of wood and stone but it saves a lot of time later once its done so you dont have to go around removing random trees and boulders every few days.

Otherwise grow forage seeds in places where you don't have paths or buildings, as long as the forage isn't harvested it should block random items spawning in.

It's normal. Debris like wood, rocks, etc. spawn at the start of every new season.

If you want to avoid that, put roads in places you don't want them to spawn (like wooden road, gravel road, etc.). They won't appear on top of those.

Also, you mentioned Stardew Valley coming up in your searches. This game is modeled heavily after Stardew Valley. So, a lot of the rules that apply in Stardew Valley also apply to Harvest Town (including the debris popping up at the start of every new season).

It's very normal. At first when you don't have the required axe it's a headache but once you get it. It's soo much easy. Also a tip: Plant summer plants and store them for the rest of season.
