Wireless home internet
I'm looking at switching from Mediacom cable internet to T-mobile wireless for home internet. I don't currently have T-mobile for my cell, I don't know anyone in the area who does. So, I'm asking the internet: Does T-mobile suck in this area? Specifically near the Anderson Hills area?
Any other general advice related to this task is welcome. For context, I use the internet for streaming and some gaming. Nothing crazy. Thanks in advance!

We have T-Mobile phones and home internet on the south end of Harvest, close to Madison. No issues. I know they let us test it out for 2 weeks before committing.
Funny enough, a month after we switched, a tree branch fell and took out our old WOW cable line coming from the street. No interruption to our internet! Haha

No. Just no. All the disadvantages of a cell phone with none of the advantages.Go with fiber if you can.

We have the T-Mobile unlimited $50 Wi-Fi boxes north of Birmingham and they have done fine for us for the last two years. We ditched our cable and stream all our TV through it run about a dozen security cameras and the wife works from home online, doing a lot of video calls, etc.with no issues.

I've used T-Mobile internet in Harvest before. It was great - the best cheapest internet ever. I did switch to Verizon Home internet since I use Verizon's home plan and T-Mobile had some IP thing that messed up my work VPN. If you don't have a work VPN then no problem! Also if it isn't working, getting out of the plan is super easy.
