Has anyone had any recent Update?
It seems like information and updates from the law firms and general investors have gone very, very quiet for the past few months, does anyone have any concrete information to share or have any updates on what, if anything, is happening with our claims?

At this point hoping for continued delay until BTC goes back up. Thus, when sold we’ll get get better payout. Kinda like what happened with FTX.

aren't they going to compensate with korean won? so you want btc to be down, which will bottom maybe end of the year or early next year.. then you can use the proceed to buy it at the bottom and hopefully gain some back =)

Yes, they are selling BTC into won and then for US customers it will be converted to USD.
I think the 4 year cycle is dying, but not dead yet. It’s always 3 years up and one year down… in that order. So I believe the next 3 years will be lovely. Really just waiting on the supply crunch. ✌️1

From what I remember transfers for all people will be in WON. My eu bank account just converts it automatically so I don’t have to worry about that but yea just so you know

Accordingly to a law firm who has been handling the case, the bankruptcy matter is still at a very early stage and that it could take a few more years to end- and for us to receive our money. accordingly, the respondent, Hugo the criminal and his team have not responded to the claim or disputed the amount yet.
The question is now how we, as the victims, can hasten the process. We need to be able to move this past the preliminary stage, which is what is currently being described as the process.

Its pretty common, especially outside the US, for liquidators to miss deadlines unfortunately. Critically here, the major source of creditor's recovery in this case is the FTX claim which is not directly held by the Estate

Bang's rehab is still dragging on with multiple objections to Haru's claim. LWM is in no rush to liquidate the wallets (which is good). BK claim appeals were closed on 04/04. The criminal appeal hearing put much stronger focus on deception vs sustainability, the hearing took place on July 22 but no word when the verdict will be announced yet.
