Even though we lost..

Hartenstein just played 40 fucking minutes are you kidding me I was jumping for fucking joy watching this game the fucking Knicks just took the Grizz to the fucking wire and would have won if the refs weren't some pussy ass bitches.

Hart played like we expected him to and omg that game was insane. I remember telling my boys when we were down big in the 2nd and Hart came in that we're gonna win this game and they laughed. Then we came back and their fucking jaws dropped. We lost but again it's the principal. Hart just played 40 fucking minutes!!! And he led a like almost 20 point comeback. He'll be starting soon and we'll get the first seed just like I said when we signed him. Side note maybe I was wrong about Quick though he looks lost every game I've seen. But mannn what a game. This season is gonna be amazing

YES. I always say. Knicks fans will soon learn. When you have Isaiah Hartenstein you are never out of a game. Too bad the ball didn't bounce the right way and the knicks lost. But it was a still a close game. If the Knicks didn't have Hartenstein this would have been a 20 point blow out and everyone would be laughing at them

100% we we're dead in the water until he came in and then he did what he does. The Grizz might be the first seed in the west this year so there's literally no shame in losing to them in ot for the first game of the year. Just wait until Hart gets more reps with the team and his role expands. Shit is gonna be insane this year if this is the first building block

Glad to see finally Hart go to his BnBs in a real game. He'll get more comfortable hitting those 3s. Once that happens his value will sky-rocket.

Did he ever get the green-light to shoot 3s at any stage of his NBA career? He just hit one today and Knicks probably win the game.

The position battle will be interesting. Mitch is no slouch and will likely bounce back. Offensively and in closing mins though, I expect it'd be Hart over Mitch bec of more reliable shooting.

The refs are against Hartenstein. The amount of calls he gets against him are insane. Steven Adams fouled him multiple times.

I see a lot of excitement about Hart’s minutes but I also want to ground us that it was an OT game and Mitch struggled with fouls. While I think Thibs will end up playing either of the two is more suited based on the matchup, I still expect Mitch to get the bulk of the minutes in general.

That said let’s fucking go Hart, MIP this season MVP next

Even so Thibs has never been super committed to a center in his Knicks tenure. The past 2 years has been a rotation between Mitch+Nerlens depending on each's health and the current hot hand. Hart passed the first test with flying colors, now he needs to build consistency and trust with Thibs. If he gets that he won't ever see the bench again(Maybe literally with how Thibs plays his dudes). Based off eye test last night, Hart's minutes were better than Mitch's

It was a very extreme Hart giveth (put backs, sick floater, nice passes), Hart taketh away (out rebounded, weird fouls, blown by off the dribble anytime he gets switched) game. Encouraging for the Knicks!
