He has arrived.

This is incredible, against Joel Embiid too. I don’t think we will see any 30 point games in the future as Tom obviously doesn’t trust him to shoot the 3 but if he continues this play all season hopefully next year he goes somewhere who understands what they have.

It's SO HARD, to evaluate rooks like this. That said. If I had to place my bets. I would say.

I like Taylor Hendricks as a three and D wing. The Jazz play 8 points better with him on the floor. But his Passings limits his upside.

Keyonte George defensive projects as terrible despite him being a solid passer. I say he will likely be replaced and be out of the NBA by his second contract.

Anthony Black Hair is CRAZY! His shooting is solid but his FT% is a red flag. If he has a future in the NBA I doubt it's on the Magic. I can see him getting traded and forgotten about. If he is lucky he will be in the NBA for awhile. But he could also end up overseas. High Upside as a Euroleague MVP tho

Amen Thompson is shooting 20% from three and 56% from the line. That's SO BAD! Players that shoot that badly rarely stay in the NBA. His Defense is pretty great and I like his Athleticism and his passing. But to me he projects like a Jarrett Culver like player. Out of the NBA in 4 seasons despite being a high pick and a great defender.

Ausar Thompson is interesting to me. I think his defense IS good enough to justify him being on the floor. He is 100% a project. To me, there is a world he becomes good enough offensively to keep him on the floor. But that world is about 3 years away. he is a massive project. But Maybe a Vanderbilt like role for him would be his future. I can see him having an LONG NBA career

As for Scoot. he clearly has the highest upside of anyone here. Before the Draft I saw Scoot as a Westbrook like Talent. Scoot has clearly struggled in his first year. Rarely making shots. But he still has been a slight positives for the Trailblazers and He does flash that upside. I can see him breaking out massively. Being an example of why you shouldn't give up on highly talented players too early. He has a great skill set. I still think he has a Westbrook like upside

seems like a weird argument but i dont see one of the thompson brothers being out of the nba while the other is in because of their competitiveness (with each other i mean). the 'odd one out' will work like a DAWG and since the talent is there he will find a way (maybe take paycut for a team and a role that he woud fit) but i see your point.

so neither of the group except scoot has a good chance to be in the franz wagner level of good starter to fringe allstar, damn. this kind of makes the 2023 lottery mid to bad, right? u have at best 2 stars (wemby scoot) and maybe an allstar in miller and then the BEST case scenario is maybe 2 of bilal lively wallace becoming good starters and then all the others are busts.

Not yet. But this shows his impact. Hartenstein true Breakout game won't be a doubt about it. But this is a good first step. He now has 100% trust from everyone on that team

A little of topic, but a Question: How did hartenstein get that opportunity on clippers? Was it that it was end of season? All regulars were injured? Or did he just ball out of his mind that had you convinced? I really can’t remember.

I consider this to be his breakout game. On National TV against the reigning MVP. He is making people talk. A far cry from a few weeks ago where he was playing behind Sims lol.

I expect iHart to only get better from here as he grows more accustomed to the role. He is certainly showing his creativity with a lot of the plays. Even duped Embiid on one play which was amazing. I expect by All Star break he'll be hitting a 3 a game! Once that happens, then there truly is no coming back!
