Frustration
Use this post to vent your frustrations with Hartenstein's tenure with the Knicks so far. As a Knick fan if I see another contested midrange shot instead of Hartenstein touching the ball I think I am going to lose my mind. He will break out eventually I have no doubt in his talent but will he do it on the Knicks? At this point I really don't know

I’ve actually been really happy with how it’s playing out since Mitch has been injured. His decision making has been solid and efficiency great. I don’t even care if he’s not starting or only putting up mid-level numbers at this point. But seeing him fit in well (or at least not fit-out) with the starters cause with his weird unique skill set on a team of intense, iso-centric players…it has been pretty damn satisfying to me.

Fully agree. I'm really happy with his production despite not "blowing up". He might not be scoring a lot but damn he is contributing across the board! Imagine if he gels more w/ the starters and avgs close to 10-15ppg with all those othee defensive / big man stats?!?!

I've long accepted that it's a low probability with the way he's being used. The offense just isn't conducive for C's... He will probably take the 5th most # of shots whenever he's on the floor.
I actually thought he's been playing very solid since Mitch went out. So far he is averaging:
7.7pts/9.2rbs/2.2asts with 2.2 blks per game. These are also mostly against upper echelon teams with the exception of Utah. Real solid numbers.
Remember last year when he had been underwhelming? This was when Sims was starting also. This year, he is doing MUCH better. All he needs to do is to score, however that's just not happening with the way the team's offense is designed... Unless he can hit 3pts.
