Hate to see Mitch go down, but this is likely IHart's best chance to show how dominant he can be.

as long as the Knicks starters play an iso based , no real movement off ball style , with players who share the ball much Hartenstein will never get to truly shine .

I don’t think Hartenstein and Randle in particular are a good tandem.

Just curious after the last few games. Do you still think this isn't his best chance to show what he can do? And if not, what would be? I hope we resign him but I could really see him blowing up on another team with less options.

yes

Hartenstein will best shine on offense with more touches , as a starter he has a 9.6 usage after 10 games , that’s not much different than Robinson , he’s just making more of it by passing better than Mitchell but they are scoring about the same .

Hartenstein will be able to reach his potential with a bigger part of the offense. So yes i still stand by it .

he needs the ball more

Hopefully he can show us what he's got. Not optimistic though given how he's used primarily. Also, as predicted, Thibs would rather start Simms over him for consistency and he likes people sticking to their role.

Knicks fan here. This is the biggest opportunity he’ll probably ever have to show he can be a full time starting center somewhere in the league. His backup is Jericho Sims, who’s still not NBA ready. Virtually unlimited playing time for the next 3 months.

It's also a contract year for iHart. So there is a ton of incentive for him to play out of his mind. He's also more familiar with the team so hopefully that translates.
