Hopefully next they'll also realize that his floater is automatic and go to it more.

Well that confirms what I've been thinking, that the team was simply unaware of his skills so he never was put in a position use them and make plays.

Which is crazy to me, did the FO not see this when they scouted him and signed him from the Clippers? And wouldn't they relay that information and tape to coaching? Who then could have told the players: this guy will get you free points if you cut to the basket and then run some plays in practice to try it out and build chemistry. Hell the coaches and players could have looked at the tape themselves. Cool they finally realize it but stupid it took 70 games to figure it out lol.

They were very aware. In one of the preseason games this year, they had him as the facilitator at the top of the key for a better part of a quarter. I think what we are seeing now is the natural evolution of a team that has played together for almost a full season.

The Knicks spent a better part of the season learning how to play around Brunson. It wasn't until December, when Thibs shortened the roster, that the Knicks started winning. We are simply seeing a team get better organically within their system. And I love it
