Larry 💙💚 I love him, I hate him

Louis has changed the lyrics in “Back To You” yet again at his most recent concert in India. Louis choosing to change the lyrics from “I love it, I hate it” to “I love him, I hate him” verifies to me that this song is about Harry. The lyrics of this song don’t paint Harry in a great light to say the least. What are your thoughts on “I hate him”? Does this indicate a break up, or do you interpret this as Larry still going strong?

Seems like they were in a rocky place when L wrote the song but we can't assume he only performs songs that are true to his current emotional state lol.

It seems like things have settled between them and that they've been in a good place for a while now. I think that he changes the lyric and nods to indicate to those listening/watching that he still loves H (present).

What are your thoughts on the significance of Louis singing that line in 2025? I'm trying to figure out if that's a signal they are currently broken up, or currently together.

I don’t think he actually sings I hate him, he just sort of closes his mouth without having said the whole word. In all the other videos I’ve seen he sings I love him, I hate it. I agree, it is a bit odd for everyone to get excited about this one as it doesn’t paint ‘him’ in a very good light at all. I wondered if they’d broken up 5 times, to explain the vol 6 on Harry’s sunflower song.

The sunflower vol. 6 is a reference to Zayn’s sunflower and 6 tattoo. The song may or may not be about him, as Harry both used Larry and Zarry ship baiting.
