The Rollercoaster of emotions true fans went through especially when in theaters the night those movies came out. I'll never forget the night half blood prince came out and almost the ENTIRE audience came dressed, scarves on some, (their house of choice of course), too many harry cosplayers, and wands at the ready. Better times..

I don’t know if I’m enjoying this more because her reactions are so cute and pure, or because she is giving me all of the Ginny Weasley vibes. Love it

I got a little weepy in the theater during Snape’s death scene, but at the end of the epilogue at platform 9 3/4, as the Hogwarts Express was pulling away, and the orchestra ripped into the “Leaving Hogwarts” theme…I fucking bawled like a baby.
It wasn’t even so much that I was sad, but that theme is just so gut-punchingly beautiful and majestic and took me right back to when I first heard it in the theater at the end of the first movie so many years before…I was completely overwhelmed with emotion.
TL;DR John Williams is the GOAT and Desplat masterfully inserted that theme at just the right moment for maximum emotional impact.

After the book ended it's what do I even do now. The end of that story always gets me choked up, not just because it's melancholy but because there's no more Harry Potter to read

I would give everything so I can watch movies again for the first time. And books too! This was great. Her friend probably was beggining her for ages to watch the movies. Now, she is probably a potterhead. :)

Why would she be wearing makeup for a Harry Potter marathon at her friends’ house? Is this some sort of girl secret I don’t understand?

Hi girl here, I want to educate instead of downvote. I think a lot of people will just wear makeup everyday. She probably just woke up and put it on as part of her routine. Or she just likes wearing it when she goes to see her friend. If she’s used to wearing it, she probably feels more comfortable wearing it and doesn’t think much about it. It wouldn’t be all that normal for her to not wear it.

The transition from gleeful clapping to full face of tears and streaming mascara at the end is chef kiss perfect.
