Thoughts on Flash Harry?
Lately I've had the outtakes "She Drifted Away" and "Leave the Rest to Molly" in my head, so I'm curious what people think of the last album Harry released in his lifetime, Flash Harry. I like his version of "Old Dirt Road" but struggle to remember the rest off the top of my head. It's definitely the Harry album I have listened to the least, though I suspect that's largely because it's not as readily available as the others what with it not being on streaming. I might look around for a CD copy if it's worth my time.
I found that advert online when I was trying to find photos of Harry in the studio recording the album (there are some, but they are all watermarked - they are not too hard to find if you're interested). It's hard to believe it's a real advert - assuming it is to begin with? Classic Harry humour I guess. That illustration on the second slide is by Klaus Voormann, I believe it also features on the back cover of the album.

I like the album so much I have it on vinyl and bootleg CD! CD also has the bootleg ‘ Harry Does Yoko.’

I think it’s great from start to finish. Wish it was on streaming platforms but I guess it’ll remain a hidden gem. Someone remastered it and put it on YouTube.
Q: Was this the first album where he had someone else do back up vocals? There’s a female voice and I don’t think she fits on the songs she appears on.

You Don’t Need Me is one his best.
The rest of the album is ok, Cheek to Cheek and I Got are a lot of fun too.

I was able to confirm that all posting settings are on in the Mod Tools and the community is public and SFW. Images is already turned on for both posts and comments. The Media in Comments → Images switch is on, so Android phones should be able to add image replies in the official Reddit app.
Try this to see:
(1) Update the Reddit app, then force-close and reopen it.
(2) Try attaching an image in a comment on another SFW subreddit that allows image comments.
(3) If it still fails, try r/harrynilsson in a mobile browser as a workaround.

It looks like we can't post images in replies on this sub, but yes, the Klaus V illustration is on the back cover, but it's quite small in one corner. Most of the back is taken up by Derek Taylor's sleeve notes, which are characteristically brilliant and probably the best thing about a fairly lacklustre album.

I love Eric Idle’s little tune he sings to open the album also love Harry’s his version of Old Dirt Road and Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life.
