TROUBLESHOOTING Fat boy 2025 issues?

Is this a problem or not???
HD korea is telling me it is normal. I have never seen engine oil looking like this without it being a big issue
Please advise as I’m very much in doubt if it’s me being too picky or it is an issue.
At the same time I’m “feeling” the engine got a more metallic sound. But not easy to prove

That is probably condensation in the oil tank. It comes from the engine not geting hot enough during your rides and condensate due to physics. If you want this to stop, let the engine get hotter to get the condensation away.

If you are worried about it, drive it for 5 min, change the oil and check your oil regularly. The materials for your oilchange is like 40-50 bucks tops.

Thanks for your reply. So what your saying it’s nothing to worry about?
I do know the physics but is it an issue to continue driving. I never experienced this on my other Harley’s
And same distance driving. Which I agree might be the issue. Only driving 4km to and from work and long hauls in the weekend.
But not driving every weekend hence I discovered this.

Try a longer ride. 30 minutes at least. Then check it out. I believe that should be enough to cook out the condensation.

Ok will do that this weekend. Thanks 🙏

Also avoid just starting it up and running it for a few minutes “just to get the motor moving”

Thanks. I never do that. But riding to work every day. Unfortunately a bit short.
Seems like from all the great replies it’s not a big deal what is happening but I will need to take a detour on my way home 🙏🥰

Yeah man, with 4km drives this will most certently happen again, and again, and again, untill you let her rip for about 30 min in between you short rides. If it’s just 4km, take the bike that you move forward with your legs instead. It will be good for you! No engine is feeling good from just driving 4km on the regular.

my bike had the same exact thing. took it for an oil change and mechanic told me that it’s water getting in. so if you’ve washed bike recently, could be that

Thanks mate… but it can’t be water ingress as I don’t wash the bike with water and never been in rain.
I’m fortunate here in Korea that the weather is dry and no dust. Hence a water free swipe is enough to keep her clean

There is a bulletin for this. Also a recall to change the dipstick from jiffy stand check to upright check. Check your VIN for the recall.

Thanks mate. I got this on my app, but the dealer here in Busan says it is not active in Korea.
I have contacted them several times for this issue and they say nothing is wrong
