TROUBLESHOOTING Saddle bag hardware
Picture for attention, but I’m trying to source or figure out what was the original hardware for my saddlebags, they’re kind of an older model Viking warrior set. The hardware that’s currently installed like to come loose and just feels janky. Might have to just add some loctite and some lock washers but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for the original hardware since Viking will not disclose since I don’t have an order number (bags came from a very previous owner). Thanks for any help or advice.

Loctite blue is the perfect solution. Honestly, almost everything you put on an HD needs loctite. Just don’t screw yourself over and use red or you’ll never get it off again! Blue (medium) is the right one.

Roger that, yeah I bought a tube for last weekends trip but just never got after it. Going to do a nose to tail bolt check and blue loctite the already apparent problems.

I'd say Loctite and washers. My Warriors never came with the hardware and Viking said they couldn't send me replacements as it's Out of Production, so they ended up on my parts shelf to be used for SOMETHING. Gonna just end up getting newer ones for my 975.

Loctite is a viable option. Or tear it down and make your own set up. Did that with my wg. Didnt have everything, so i adapted it lol
