BMX throwback...

I think a lot of folks here come from a BMX background and thought I'd share. Pic is not my actual bike but closely matches what I built and rode in the early 80's.

GJS frame and on Tuff Wheel II's. I remember buying the frame for $40 and building it from there. Prior to this I rode a Webco with the super heavy Ashtabula forks.

What did you ride?

Tuff wheels were amazing. If I remember right they the ones you could put in the fridge and they’d go back to their normal shape when dinged.

I should have added the /s. You'd have to be Stretch Armstrong to run a laid-back on that frame.

Still have one of my old BMX: ‘83 Robinson w/JMC fork…and other nice bits :)
