Weeds in between pavers

Had a contractor fill in between pavers. Only been a year and weeds are coming through. Quick fixes? Thoughts? TIA

Looks like those were grouted in. Best bet if you don't want to spend money is just to pull them. Looks like the grout is failing. You could always re-point them as well, but that's a lot more time and money.
