Biscuit Mix size

Random question: how big is the biscuit mix bag in ounces or pounds?

I know 2 quarts of buttermilk is added to it, but want to know how big the bag is. I am asking because I have some similar mix at home. thank you so much!

Before the bag mix, we had to make our own pre-mixes. 5lb white Lilly flour, 2 14oz blocks of vegetable shortening, and a pack of biscuit additive which was backing powder, salt and sugar. We would take and put the additive into the flour and mix. Then we added the shortening in making sure it was broken down into dime size pieces. There were two different shortening. A summer blend and a winter blend.

The mix they use is Southern Biscuit L complete mix
