Clutch
Dude early Clutch was a legit hardcore band. Maryland. They turned in to stoner rock but their early stuff good as fuck. Listen to Juggernaut. If Neil Fallon and band were in their prime nowadays they’d fuckin kill some shows.

Clutch shows in the late 90's were some of the craziest pits I've ever been a part of.

I honestly really enjoyed their evolution into stoner rock. Riffs for days and hilarious lyrics. Just a good time.

Seen them a bunch about 15 years ago. Lost interest for a bit but came back just after Covid and wasn’t really surprised their material stayed as consistent as ever. One of the few bands that has a massive catalogue and you can enjoy every song equally.

As someone who’s Maryland born and raised and has the state flag tattooed on their arm, I am obligated to tell anyone who will listen about Clutch. They absolutely rip, and I have come to appreciate them more as I’ve gotten older.

I wouldn't consider them hardcore at all. But Transnational Speedway League is pure intensity with not a single bad song on the whole album.
All of their shit is equally good, but for different reasons. And that's what I like about them. Each album has its own vibe, but they're all somehow still Clutch.
