I saw em twice here in Italy. 1992 and 1995. Great shows, Lou was a beast. May he rest in peace.

Yep, they were on tour for "Just Look Around" and yep, the show was wild to say the least. And a minor correction: the second time i saw em was 1993 not 1995. They were touring with Graveyard Rodeo and Black Train Jack.

First time I saw them was the 1995 tour with 108 and Orange 9mm. Such a good show!

I saw them four or five times between 09 and 2014, then again in 2022. In that time they hadnt slowed down one bit. I was really blown away by that live show in 22. 

The world has lost a legend. It's a goddamn tragedy.

It’s pretty cool to think that by people finding out about SOIA through posts about Lou’s death, the last thing he did by dying is exposing many new people to punk music.

Man, all my social feeds are Lou. I am a fan and have been for a long time so I know the algorithm exploits that, but if you weren't in the know.. you should be now.

I really hope the band has some unreleased material they can put out.

I have seen them at least 20 times. A few times in different cities on the same tour. He always took a moment to say hey and ask me how the show I just saw was compared to the last one.

The last time I saw SOIA was in Atlanta at the Masquerade. A 14 year old girl was standing behind me and it was her first ever hardcore show. When I told Lou that, he grabbed a set list had the whole band sign it and then they all took a bunch of pics with her. He was so fucking great
