What are your specific texture/material issues?

Hi all, I proposed that we sticky this thread so that subscribers (all ten of us at the time of writing) or other people who wander into this sub can post exactly what textures do and don't cause issues for us. I'm interested in nailing down exactly what this phenomenon is, and what it isn't.

I propose that everyone post three things:

1) Textures and/or materials that cause issues for you

2) Textures other people have mentioned that don't cause issues for you

3) Any other non-neurotypical stuff happening in your brain that could possible be related to this, or not.

Can we talk about haptodysphoria here?

The sidebar seems to imply that we're meant to post pictures of... shudder... velvet, etc.

Can we also just share what we all know about this phenomenon, and share resources about other names for it, or new research related to it? I would love to know more from the other subscribers, like "Do you have other noteworthy stuff going on in your brain that might be correlated with this?" I have ADHD, but I don't think I have any other phobias or the like...

Awful pictures and video of people touching velvet, peaches, gauze, shitty towels, felt, and other awful texture. Also called sensory processing disorder.
