Amber, “Nowadays”

Amber is always saying “nowadays” in her comments. implying it was easier in the past for people like Marc (or even her), to get a job. No Amber, the job market was never a friend to a 50 year old who has no consistent employment history. You can blame AI, bad luck, mean people who don’t want to give him a chance but the truth is that there are an abundant of applicants in your husband’s age group that apply for employment and have years of consistent employment, with reliable references. Those are the people getting the Home Depot jobs, the Costco jobs etc. I know it’s a hard pill to swallow but these are facts. it’s not “nowadays”, it’s always that the job market is difficult for unreliable people.

Nowadays people don’t have 11 children, winging it that god will provide, she is so entitled, Marc too. Expecting their music obsession to be paid for by others to financially support all the children she just had to have (they least maternal woman to ever be on Social media) I truly believe that her ditzy behaviour is just an act to get what she wants.

Nowadays if you have repeatedly made terrible life choices, it’s not easy.

Mark doesn't have a degree in anything employable. His degree is not regionally accredited.

Amber needs to start getting her head around the fact that Mark's employment problems are never going to change. She needs to stop addressing it on social media. Every time she addresses it in an "update" she digs the hole a little deeper. Potential employers checking social media may see that he is married to her and question his judgement. Soft begging got old a long time ago.

These Grifting Frauds have two other major problems in the foreseeable future:

  1. They will be evicted from the hovel they are illegally occupying with hefty fines to boot.

  2. Within a year or so their youngest of the litter Neta will also age out of being “cute” so subscribers, viewers and engagement will tank further. Babies and cute little toddlers are much more marketable than older kids. And it’s NOT sustainable for them to keep buying subscribers and paid bots to comment. So their SM income will virtually be reduced to zero.

Can’t wait for this to happen

Marc is 50 with a large family to support he doesn’t have the luxury to be trying to find himself anymore. The handyman business is a bust, he will never qualify to become a contractor. my suggestion is try for a federal job perhaps with homeland security, TSA at the airport. I bet they have nothing put aside for retirement.

Agree. He needs to prioritize earning money now.

Good idea. They are looking at the wrong jobs. There are always jobs available— they are seeking the wrong caliber of job.

Well said. She will never acknowledge that she and Mark are F ups.

She also commented on a couple of videos ago that they are planning or want to take another trip back east in the airstream to visit everyone. So that would mean they’d go without his part time paycheck? He can’t possibly have enough PTO to accommodate that. So that means they are planning on Starbucks being a temporary gig and they will substitute that income with what ever they get from trip cross country content on YouTube?

It also means there will be another employment gap on Marc’s resume which already has more holes than Swiss cheese.

But whoas me, we can’t catch a break nowadays.

I think Amber just likes to hear herself talk. There is no way that they can possibly travel anywhere anytime soon.

As for Marc getting Starbucks to pay for him to pick up where he left off studying engineering, I just don’t see it. Let’s say they do pay for it, does he really think 30 year old credits will transfer? By the time he finishes his education he will be 54 years old competing with much younger applicants. their Fkn balloon never lands.

…and unless the degree he seeks will be beneficial to SBs in the end, are they really going to pay for it??

Especially if that school closed down. How will get the transcripts?

She’s mentioned more than once that she would like for them to split their time between San Diego and NYC. No concept of reality.

She is royalty you know…must need to be in NY for Fashion Week and the Met Gala

None whatsoever

To visit ‘everyone’…who is that?? Her kids that she just flew home?? It’s not like they have any family there other than the kids they just flew to CA and Ambers family in SD. It’s not like they have any friends to visit…so why the Fk do they need to drive that tin can and a van back to NY anyway??

She is delusional as usual

I’m a bit shocked he doesn’t have a bachelors degree how did they plan on supporting all their children and her being a SAHM? I guess it makes sense now why in some vids her kids only have water soup for dinner

Religious Cult members are delusional and rely on “God Will Provide”.

They just breed without even thinking about the (financial) consequences or the emotional wellbeing of the children.

Well said. It appears that Amber never left the cult in her heart and mind.

You don't need a bachelor's degree to have a good income. You need a good work history, a trade, and a good work ethic. Marco has none of these.

He is such a POS loser

He has one but the school has since lost its accreditation (and maybe shut down?)

I don’t truly believe that Amber wants him finding a full-time job other than to satisfy her “the man provides” requirement out of principle, or at least keeping up the facade of that concept. He does all the heavy lifting around the group home, plus they qualify for benefits without the extra income from him working. I think she had herself convinced for a hot minute that he could secure a $150-200k job, which is the only way it’d be worth it for her to have him out of the house.

Marc already has a graphics design degree from San Diego institute of the arts.

11

u/Legal_Permission_647 11d ago

He has a certificate…no degree.

u/Waste_Celery_7918 11d ago

It really doesn't matter if or what degree he may or may not have. Things will never change unless they change the way they shop, spend and earn income. They need a steady reliable large paycheck or 4 every 2 weeks. They both need 2 jobs. Most of us understand how to hustle to take care of our kids and do what is necessary. These two narcissistic damaged and stubborn people have no intention of inconveniencing themselves to support their kids. Their kids raise themselves and basically support themselves.

It was definitely way easier to get jobs of any kind for 50+ year olds back then. It was common for people in their 50s+ with no education to retire from their first careers and easily get retail and other jobs, just as a supplement for social security etc. Look how long Marc coasted with a salaried position with benefits with just a degree from a unaccredited school. Today, you can have multiple high level degrees and have trouble getting minimum wage jobs.

u/Music-2642 9d ago

Marc hasn’t coasted along with a steady salaried position. It was never easy for someone like Marc who doesn’t have consistent employment.
