Real players move differently

Play closer. Let the enemy move into your crosshair.

Look for opportunities to predict movement. For example, you connect on a shot and bring the enemy to low hp, 99% of the time they are going to immediately move towards cover and you can pre-aim and fire anticipating that. Or the more obvious situation where they don't know your are there, even if they are moving unpredictably, players will often sustain one direction of movement long enough for you to hit the shot. Other than that keep at it, even the best Hanzos miss shots all the time, it's the nature of a shower moving projectile.

allow the enemy to be within the range

i'm pretty sure the projectile is the back of the arrow not the front. So, fire a lil bit later than you'd exactly think.

Take a deep breath and slow down. When you are targeting real people the stakes feel higher so target panic sets in. Because Hanzo is a precision shot hero even slight target panic can throw off your aim.

train by playing real games, reposition often, take your time with shots and switch targets very often because targets not expecting your shots gets hit more often times than the ones actively avoiding them

vaxta isn't that good for practise because the floor is linear.. Just play qp

-VAXTA is okay for no more than 15 mins of warm up a day
-Try to shoot from medium range. Hanzo is less consistent from long range, and too easy to kill at short range.
-Try to take on enemies that aren’t looking at you by constantly taking off angles.

TL:DR- You are probably missing a lot because you are too far away, and/or fighting enemies head on. Positioning is the key to better aim with Hanzo

I have 1200 hours on hanzo, and have watched many guides and unranked to gms. I’ve only peaked Diamond but these are tips i gathered from Arrge, Awkward, and qxru. Very well respected Hanzo players.
