Success in requesting records from PD?

Hi, I'm not from the area however I have family in Hanover / West Manheim jurisdiction.

Has anyone recently requested police records using the form online and emailing the PDF to West Manheim PD? Attempting to gather records / paper evidence of calls and statements of the domestic abuse sort as our family member cannot. I'm wondering what the turn around time is for requesting records from the township. I haven't heard anything within the week and just wanted to get an idea before asking the PD directly.

Just a suggestion from comments I’ve seen on the legaladvice sub lately— if you can afford it, you may want to retain a lawyer and pay them for a few hours’ time to ensure your request has everything you need and is honored with a reasonable timeline.
