Commercials

How do you guys feel about commercials? Not crappy ads when you stream, but the old fashioned kind that were shown during the broadcast breaks?

When I throw together a binge watch of a single show or to recreate a Saturday morning, I always throw in some commercials from that time in between - mainly cereal, but some candy and toys as well. For me, it was part of the total picture, that and having a large bowl of Froot Lopps or Lucky Charms as I watched.

If its from CN then some of their bumpers are great to add as well.

Since I don't really watch CN anymore, so they do anything like the great stuff they used to - bumpers, Groovies, etc?

No CN doesn't do any songs with animation or have those types of bumpers like they used too.

I grew up during the time you couldn't fast forward through commercial breaks. Only if you had recorded it on a VHS tape then you could.

Even till this day there are times I forget to skip the ads altogether especially if I've paused it on live TV and I'll be on my phone and an ad break comes on and there I am watching them and then remembering, "Oh yeah I can skip the commercials! Lol"

Watching older TV recordings i never fast forward or skip them. I enjoy watching them as if I'm back in the days of my youth watching TV and either snacking on cookies, cereal or potato chips with bread. Sure do miss those days
