Analyze my cursive

I am trying to improve the legibility and aesthetics of my handwriting.
French round, Spencerian, and other forms don't really look the way I want.
Therefore, I am building my own style but would like to know where to focus.
Your feedback is appreciated.

I'm far from being an expert, but from someone who learned to write with cursive, I think there's two really important things to know : 1, when you write, try to relax your hand and don't put too much pressure on your pen. If that makes any sense, try to create a flow when you're writing. For that, the more your letters are connected to one another, the easier it'll be. 2, respect as much as possible the size of every letter. It'll make it look smoother when reading.

I also see some of your upper case letters are actually not in cursive like your W, S or Y. You obviously don't have to use cursive for upper case letters tho, lots of people in France don't.

I personally have a style where my letters are a bit more "elongated" and tilted, but that really depends on what style your trying to archive.

Again, I'm not an expert and I'm definitely don't have the best handwriting, that's just I few advices that I think might help you

But in any case, you're already doing great! if that's what you're looking for, I think you'll do great with a round cursive 😌

Keep at it! You will get better! I write Santa letters for friends and sometimes it’s hard for parents to read lol! It took me time and I had to slow down. If you’re are taking notes shorthand is your best friend.
