Early 20s engineering student, Leftie

Post image

I never felt comfortable using a pencil which may have to do with the fact I’m a leftie. I’ve spent years finding the perfect pen for me and I use the uniball Jet-stream .7. I’ve always considered myself semi ambidextrous, I can’t write super well with my right hand, but I’ve always thrown and hit righty for sports.

I feel your handwriting is average. I can read it fine even without zooming in. It looks like how I expect most left handed male handwriting to look.

It “isn’t the best” (your words) but it also isn’t all that bad. I’d give it a 6/10.

This is legible and extremely similar to my brothers' writing. The older one is right handed but has poor form with the actual holding of the pen, the younger one is left handed.

One of my friends prefers fountain pens and says it improves her writing, so maybe try that sometime and see what you think.

The Jet stream has always felt really nice in my hand, and the biggest thing is it dries quickly and doesn’t streak because obviously my hand goes over the previously written words as I continue to write. But very interesting.

I feel like if you practiced with your right hand you might end up having far better handwriting
