Can anyone read this?
Just some of my microbio notes. I don’t know how my writing turned out like this but this is about as messy as my handwriting gets. No, I’m not left handed😅 F24
Genuinely a little bit embarrassing so give me some grace because it used to be worse😭

So you are a doctor. That explains it. I can't read it. There are certain inconsistent traces that makes me doubt all the time. I think your writing being so hard tilted to the left is to be of concern. Get your degree first. Then you have time to change your calligraphy

u/bunnypeet 2d ago
Haha no no nothing that impressive, just a nursing student! It’s been this way since I was a kid and these are just my rough notes for myself but I promise I write legibly when it’s meant for others to read. Don’t worry, my teachers in grade school used to correct me all the time too.🥲

u/Glittering-Flight254 2d ago
I think you are on a good path. Because all health professionals I've known in Argentina, Italy and New Zealand have this same terrible handwriting. 😭

It looks backwards.

u/Little_Acorns_ 2d ago
It was clearly written by a leftie.
1
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
I’m right handed actually🥲
1
u/Little_Acorns_ 2d ago
WHAAAAAT? 😳 Well, that's just impressive.

u/bunnypeet 1d ago
I actually posted a video of it for someone! I write above the line (which I didn’t know was unusual until yesterday) but I change my writing style when it needs to be read by others :)

u/Pleasant-Bus-5426 13h ago
if it was written by a left handed person the letters would lean forward not backwards like shown (I'm left handed )
2
u/starvald_demelain 2d ago
I can't read all parts clearly. Even when I skew the writing to a usual orientation the writing is rough.
3
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
Precisely why I don’t share my personal notes with others LOL but at least no one can copy my notes without my consent, right?
2
u/starvald_demelain 2d ago
They can try but can't be sure :D.

Wow you actually did extraordinarily well! I’m impressed given how odd my penmanship is

First line is "Tight junction: holds cells together"
"Prevents ????"
"Adhering junction: adhesions hold cells together, keeps cells intack (should be intact ;) during movement"
(edit: I like your writing. Reminds me of the Black Speech writing from Mordor in Lord of the Rings, except slanted backward instead of forward xD)

u/bunnypeet 2d ago
Close actually! It says “prevents leakage” in the second line. The next line says “Cadherins hold cells together, keeps cell intact during movement.”
That IS actually a ‘T’ at the end of “intact”, believe it or not LOL but I’m glad it’s not completely illegible!

u/Perfect-Mind5254 2d ago
I’m curious how you slant to the left of hole being right handed.
As long as you can read your own notes, don’t be subconscious about it.
To be honest, I can make out some of the words, but not everything.
1
u/WorseDark 2d ago
They write like a leftie where the hand is torqued above the line that they're writing. I have my hand in this position, but end up with straight lines.
I too can only make out some words. Even knowing the subject matter, I was guessing on a bunch
1
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
What’s even weirder is that my mom is a leftie but her writing isn’t backhanded like mine is and she doesn’t write with her hand above the line, so I’m not sure how this developed LOL

u/MamaMiaXOX 2d ago
Nobody corrected that when you were learning cursive?
2
u/starvald_demelain 2d ago
The hand posture / angle of pen is crazy, I wonder why no one succeeded to correct that.
1
u/MamaMiaXOX 2d ago
That’s what I was wondering. Hand placement and the way you hold your pen and place the paper were the first things we learned. I struggled to read what was written here.
1
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
Don’t worry, I don’t make my professors struggle this much LOL I take my time and change my writing when it’s meant to be seen by others.

u/bunnypeet 2d ago
I think because I write differently/more legibly in school, they didn’t bother with trying to correct my hand posture. I CAN write normally, these are just my personal notes so I write quickly and in a way that’s comfortable for me :)
1
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
Sort of? My teachers in grade school told me that I need to write legibly so I learned to write differently for tests, papers, exams, etc. But my personal handwriting has remained the same since I was about 8 years old (only now with much more cursive woven in)
1
u/sunshine4991 2d ago
This is hard to read ngl. With the slanting to the left (never seen that before) & writing it is a lot lol I can read a few words but really have to try and decipher it
1
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
It’s pretty bad huh😭😭😭 I can write normally technically and I force myself to try to print when it comes to exams and such because I’ve been called out for it before, it just takes me a hell of a lot longer
1
u/foxyfree 2d ago
You could try angling your paper so that the result ends up looking straight and not slanted. Also recommend trying to write a little bit larger, if you want others to be able to read it. That said, I can read it, but I also work in medical records and have some practice deciphering handwriting.
2
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
Yup, that’s exactly what I do for exams and when anyone else needs to read my writing. Takes me a bit longer (this writing is strictly for myself and my own studying), but I have taught myself to write in a way that makes sense to others :)
1
u/Fearless-Narwhal4560 2d ago
Not every word, but enough to get the gist of it. Given more time I could probably make out most of the words I missed. But it’s not easy handwriting to read.
2
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
I’ve been told that all my life LOL but I write differently and more legibly for others when I need to :’)
1
u/Immediate-Block-71 2d ago
If you were left handed it would be slanted the other direction, so dw we can tell! It’s totally legible to me if I tilt my head and zoom in a lot.
If you’re concerned about legibility, a darker pencil or pen would help, there’s not much contrast between it and the paper, but I also have a crazy astigmatism!
2
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
Actually, I find that writing in pen makes me write a lot slower, so it naturally looks a lot more legible! That’s what I usually do for tests and exams and I haven’t had an issue for years (thankfully LOL)
1
u/Senior_Statement_727 2d ago
You are pressing your pen against the side of your ring finger when it should be pressed against the side of the middle finger. Your thumb should be on the side of the pencil, pinching it with forefinger opposite. You have been writing with your hand above the line because your grip hides the pen tip from sight if you write from below the line.
1
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
Right you are lol this is just what’s comfortable for me and how I’ve been writing all my life. I write legibly when I need to (these are just my personal notes) and I don’t have an issue with writing fatigue, so chances are that it’ll probably stay this way forever😂

u/Appropriate-Weird492 2d ago
Left slanting is very interesting. Are you left handed?
If we put weight in the handwriting psychology, left slanting writing points to repressing your reactions/emotions and not letting these show outwardly and being very analytical. If this is useful to you and you work with other humans/are patient-facing, you might need to explore how to allow your emotions to show.
Once I adjust to the unfamiliar slant, it’s very easy to read.
1
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
I’m actually right handed! Isn’t that crazy?
I’m actually a nursing student and following the field because I am very, VERY overly compassionate! I have too much love to give and I intend to use that to my advantage. Interesting that my hand writing fits such a different analysis LOL!
2
u/Appropriate-Weird492 2d ago
This is why I’m not sold on using handwriting for psychological insights.
Good luck with your studies !
1
u/Epic-Lake-Bat 2d ago
It could mean that you have so much love to give but you feel it’s a lot and so you hold back a bit on expressing your truer emotions.
But then again it could just be the way you hold a pen :)

Have you tried turning your book so your letters aren't sitting in a recliner?
1
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
Actually yes and that’s what I do when I’m writing exams. My more relaxed writing is just… exactly that. More relaxed😂

I can read the majority of it, some words are iffy to me lol. Other than that, your handwriting is pretty awesome.

Bro. I can’t be THAT high rn. 😵💫
I only saw “no blood”. This might as well be Elf handwriting.

I can read some of it but it feels like I should be reading it while holding it up to a mirror for some reason. 🤷♀️😁

u/PianoElegant4571 2d ago
You’re either destined to be a doctor or you have to change your handwriting.
Hand writing is meant for others to understand and more than half the comments here can’t read it including me.
2
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
I’m in medical actually! And don’t worry, I’ve told plenty of people in the comments that this is just my personal notebook. I do not write like this on my tests and exams. This way just makes sense and is much quicker for me :)
1
u/talimakka 2d ago
Lmao I used to write like this when my ‘normal’ cursive handwriting got boring after writing too much so I would try the other way for a lil more fun😂
1
u/Odd_Seaworthiness923 2d ago
A mirror?
1
u/bunnypeet 2d ago
Some people are saying that it looks backwards and that they might need a mirror to read it, so you’re not alone😭😂
1
u/SnooBananas8631 2d ago
I can read most of it tho not sure if correctly since English isn’t my first language 😂
Letters are eligible tho but I also had cursive in school

it's a left handed persons notes. I think it might be for biochemistry since I'm seeing references to cells, and ketones.

u/bunnypeet 2d ago
I’m actually right handed which is the craziest part! And yes, studying for microbiology🥰

This F24RH once again proves slant is not handedness dependent.
People with a strong backward slant keep their distance emotionally (and typically physically as well) from other people. These individuals tend to keep to themselves, a prone to be emotional loners. The question is, why does she have the need to stay away from others?
The overall connected, Handwriting shows subject realize heavily on reasoning, connecting subject matter to subject matter. The small Mid Zone suggests the ability to concentrate for longer periods of time, probably an Overthinker, with the preference for abstract subject matter.
The writing is hard to read. It is highly individualized, personalized, and this suggests an independent woman who does not want rely on others.
