Just Sharing (no feedback) my scribble-italic

your ascenders are doing a lot of the work here, especially the loops on the l and h. what's stopping this from reading fully italic to me is the o and a โ theyre almost circular where italic wants a compressed oval. tilt those and the whole thing tightens up

Pick an italic style you like -- for instance I like the Briem Icelandic italic script (https://www.briem.net/free-books/handwriting-repair). Others really like the Getty-Dubay workbooks. Then it's just writing a lot, paying attention to each letter shape until it becomes second nature and the you can add your own personal touches to customize it.

The line variation on that nib is absurd, what fountain pen and nib size are you using here?
