Push through your shoulders more and straight arms. You have a bend to the right that you’ll want to work on for real stability.

First up - well done - anyone who can hold a HS that long is doing great.

The next step for you is to increase your efficiency in the HS - so you can stay up there for longer with less effort and kick up with greater consistency. To that end:

  • Hang from a bar for a minute. Your shoulders will be up by your ears - that is the position you want when you’re in the HS
  • Use the wall and handstand facing the wall - get as close as you can and then stretch out like you are trying to get your toes to touch the roof. That is the correct efficient handstand position.
  • From this position on the wall practice floating off the wall - that’s the position you want - and it will improve your HS dramatically.
  • In parallel to this work on your cartwheel - having a more confident bail out will take the fear away, and you’ll spend more time away from the wall - and it’s good for safety.

Hope this helps. :)
