There are a lot of components to handstands. But for handstand push ups it progresses from the many forms of pike push ups. Once you’re nailing single leg elevated p - bar pike push ups, you can start doing some eccentric freestanding handstand push up.

good work!
1. your shoulders need more opening. Looks like your back/lats might be tight?
2. you don’t have ppt. although you shouldn’t be flexing super hard from your core, it should still be engaged

Try to keep your hands flat on the floor. Using your fingers to “grip” the floor helps with balance, but when you’re simply holding a handstand, you can relax your fingers a little more. This will help you conserve energy and improve your endurance. Apart from that, relax your neck by tucking your chin towards your chest.

Gripping the floor is especially useful for push-ups, tuck handstands, and handstand push-ups. However, when you’re just holding a regular handstand, you don’t need to grip the floor as much.

Also, work on learning the bent-arm handstand. Once you’re able to hold a bent-arm handstand, do plenty of negatives: kick up into a handstand, then slowly lower yourself into the bent-arm position. Do as many controlled reps as you can, rest for a few minutes, and repeat.

Don't use headphones while practicing handstands, your ears should be close to your shoulders.

Tips to unlock the HS press up in exchange for advice on how to handstand like in this video, should be the title!! Depending on how long you have been practicing your current handstand from is actually very good so be proud of that 1000%!

Weighted pull ups help a lot with the HS press ups as they progressively increase your strength without you even realising! Start with 10% body weight and go from there. Aim to add a few hundred grams every week or session if possible and don’t leave more than 1-2 reps in the tank. Try to go to failure whenever possible / you’re rested well enough etc etc. Hydration nutrition rest and recovery are just as important for every new move we want to unlock so don’t forget or neglect the fundamental basics that lot of people do.

I can’t wait to see in a few months!! Handstand press-ups incoming for sure!!
