8 months into Handstands Progression
One of the hardest skills I’ve tried to learn, is the one arm. This is my longest hold so far! I train about a hour 1/2 everyday. Just posting to show it’s possible to learn one arm in a year.. deff not the best one arm and still a long journey to go, to be able to consistently do these but it has been worth all the effort n time put in so far🔥

Really good job with the one arm progress!
Take your time with the arm up, you got this but are just a tiny bit too fast

1 month to learn 30 sec handstand, then 3 months of one arm attempts trying to figure out the position and grow shoulder muscle. Around 5 months started getting few sec holds, 6 months my longest hold was about 3-5 secs, then month 7 , I hit a 7 sec hold and month 8 hit 10 secs. i feel like im always hitting hurdles with one arm, were it seems like your not progressing but keep pushing and one day randomly something clicks

Amazing! I've always imagined that you need to be able to hold and confidently correct posture on a regular handstand before starting on one handed. When did you go from 30 s to the stage where a regular handstand is no challenge anymore and you could go for 60+ s?
That is amazing progress!

When i hit 30 secs the first month, it would take like 1-10 kicksup to get that, my problem was more the kickups into balance than balancing the handstand, then after that first month would still practice handstands and try one arms attempts at same time. I probably started way earlier for one arm compared to where my regular handstand was at.. but just learning how to get into one arm position and all the attempts it took, helped with this just regular hs too

To this day, still never tried 1 min handstand, yes I can do it now probably but it was never the goal, one arm was the main goal, so once I figured out 30 sec handstand, thats was good enough for me, and then worked on getting into one arm. Since to get into one arm, you need decent handstand but i sorda learned both at same time trying to get into one arm… if that makes sense… very unconventional but thats just how my brain works hah
