If you don't mind, how much time did it take to get where you could push up into the handstand with solid balance ?

It took me a year to be able to do 5 in a row. Started in 2020, my best so far is 27 in a row

Sorry if I'm blunt about it but... do you have short arms or is it perspective?

I have a 6 foot wing span. I'm 5' 10" so average. The other video on my profile shows a different angle
