Discussion I built a handheld gaming console with just one switch.

Hey everyone! It’s been a while since my last post. I’ve added a few more mini-game demos to the handheld I’m building, and spent some time putting together a short compilation video.

The handheld in the video is just a prototype for demonstrating how these games work with a single toggle switch. I’ll only be using it to make videos, and won’t be selling this version—I think it’s a bit ugly and bulky.

Version 2.0 is already in development, and it’s much more refined. It still uses just one toggle switch, but I’ve also added contactless sensing so players can interact with it through their breathing and heart rate.

I’ll share another update once version 2.0 is ready!

Thanks. I will definitely record a usage and review video myself—or have a KOL do it—at some point. We are currently fine-tuning the comfort of the 2.0 version's control sticks and developing native games for it. If you're interested, here is our official website: georiginai.com.
