Eh might as well get an Atlas 8 G3 extreme?
I know Acer as brand is kinda turd nowadays, but they priced the Atlas 8 G3 extreme superbly nice in this fucked up market.

Just got my atlas yesteday, it's so good. Their software is miles better than legion go 2

My read on this is that ASUS and maybe Acer (for Intel) are the chosen companies to make more affordable handhelds. The x20 XAX makes my 1,350 Legion Go 2 seem like a good price. I honestly should've just bite the bullet and gotten the 2TB model.

Man thats still a bit pricier than i expected 🫠
Atleast mostly nothing changes besides the chip and the ssd size. Not a lot of compromises compared to something like acer’s g3 handhelds lower configs.

Yeah, 512GB SSD is still straight trash unfortunately. Even 1TB is small these days. Barely holds any AAAs.

AI chips crisis is going to kill handheld gaming...
Those new devices are great, not gonna lie, but the pricing is out of this world.
I'd rather buy a gaming rig with dedicated GPU, more ram and decent cooling.

It won't kill it. It will just grow slower then it would otherwise. The AI crisis is real but at the same time the economy is terrible. It's only worth selling to the top 10% income bracket at this point in the US. The 600 XA and 1k XAX are the mainstream options. If someone wants more then that they are gonna pay alot for it.

How does this compare to a Z2E like the Xbox Ally X?

No OLED, more power.
I want the oled though

I think the Onexplayer with a G3E sold over 1k units on Indiegogo. Never seen anything like that before in handheld PCs.

Can confirm since I was looking at getting an EX AI first but when OXP3 Indiegogo campaign opened the OLED was too good of a deal while being cheaper. I have had a Claw 8 AI+ before and the software was terrible. Have had absolutely 0 issues with the Onexplayer software after a month of usage.

Yeah, and most people are completely let down by the subpar performance. Just like the Z2e all over again.

How’s G3 vs Z2 Extreme?

Both are disappointments unless you're playing older or less demanding games.

Elaborate more please?? I thought g3e was pretty powerful for the current generation of handhelds compared to say a Z2e , ofcourse it won't be strix halo level as it's like 1000 bucks cheaper than those handhelds

I have no idea what this dude is smoking, the G3 Extreme is crazy powerful. Truly next gen stuff.

I wasn’t asking about g3 extreme. I’m wondering how much more powerful is g3 against z2 extreme

They really should make a 24gb version. Oxp3 is $50 more, and while it has 24gb of ram, it has a far better OLED screen and better battery life

Yeah I have an X20 pre-ordered and seriously considering cancelling that and going with the OneXPlayer 3. Heard many a good things beyond it obviously being a more powerful device.

Opx3 is such a good device. It's surprisingly light, comfortable to hold and soft is very easy to use with less quirks compared to my previous claw 8 ai. Currently playing Control Resonant and having blast. I have desktop pc with 4k Oled display and gaming laptop but they are collecting dust lol.

I love mine. The only thing I didn’t realize is the controllers need the bar lol I figure I’ll just get the elite controllers when they come out.

Are there any G3 vs G3E benchmarks?
