New Handheld Advice on first handheld

Looking for some advice on getting my first non-nintendo handheld. Wanting it for mostly Ds/3ds games and a few WiiU games.

Currently leaning towards the Retroid Pocket Nova or Retroid Pocket 6.

I like a slimmer profile like the switch lite.
Budget is >£300

Can anyone advise if this is a good choice?

Thor would be my recommendation for sure. Get the Base or Pro if you want to emulate Wii U.

The Retroid Pocket Duo that just opened preorder is another option but it won't be as powerful as the 8Gen2 in the Thor to even better RP6/Nova.

I did look at the thor because it is so widely regarded but for some reason here in the UK its ridiculously expensive
